    are the mounts the same for the 7.5L gas pot as they are for the 7.3 IDI I found n '88 crew cab dually that is absolutely beautiful just that 1) it's a gaspot 2) it's 2wd it has a 7.5L so what do you guys think is it too much of a pta to switch it to diesel, manual, 4wd?

    i just took the girl out for a burn the tranny does shift but it will not shift until 2100rpm hangs out there than shifts i also don't remember having to run at 2100-2200rpm to do 60mph/100kmh it feels like the tranny is wasting alot of power(man i can't wait to find a 5-speed or 6 speed manual...

    how hard is it to convert a marine diesel into a highway diesel the reason i am asking is i am looking at the 3208 cat engines and all the marine diesel have almost twice the hp + torque ratings. And also why do the marine diesels always have higher ratings:dunno

    compression test results

    all the cylinders where between 400psi - 480psi except the rear 2 the rear p.s. was 340psi the rear d.s. was 320psi:eek: before i did the test the engine started good but now won't start at all
