I got a spare zf5 from a parts truck I bought. I never found a use for it so its time to sell it. It shifted fine when I drove the truck. It's located in ca bay area 300.00
Body lift is not possible on a two wheel drive truck of this era. Unless you get very custom with a new steering column. Mine has no body lift and I am running a banks non wg kit on mine just fine. Work from the trans mount forward. You will be able to use the stock mount and driveshaft that...

Key points
Watch the clearance of the drivers exhaust manifold to the top of the steering box
You need to use a high torque reduction starter as it is far smaller then the standard unit
Use an aftermarket trans controller as you won't have a...

I found some info on here http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/3rd-gen-powertrain/140295-cat-1r-0749-filter-question.html the downfall is the $$$$$$$ to replace those filters.
You can get the IssPro classic series for under $130.00 including the probe and lead. But as with most things not all of IssPro's or AutoMeters stuff is made in USA anymore. The lower lines are from China Or Korea.
That hose is super common stuff. Do you have any hydraulic shops near you? Even better do you have any irrigation or farm suppliers? That hose is common in high pressure fluid transfer. You can get it online but its about $38.00 a foot. Even a radiator hose will work in a pinch.
It depends Shell states its okay but drops the service life of the ELC a ton! Does this truck have coolant filtration at all? Also find out where the 6 gallons went first. Silicate drop out won't hurt the egr but will clog the oil cooler and egr cooler causing cracks and blown HG's.
Being a jasper reman I would bet its suffering from their crappy sleeve job. Over on another website their is pictures of what happens when sleeves are done wrong in these engines. It slides down then proceeds to break the oil control ring and destruction is now in progress.
