Mine started when I rented a diesel car on vacation and was really impressed with the fuel milage (and range due to it) at insane speeds. I then relized I could have a full size truck that can actually pull something and get the milage of a small truck. And they're just cool.
Cool as they are that has been my issue with stacks. The stacks limit the usage of the bed and therefore the truck for most peoples intended use (in more than one way).
eek! Not sure where but that is out of wack. Have you tried the "listen" to the exhaust on the compression stroke? I'm not really sure it matters if you're going to pull the head.
80 gal of water at 8 lbs per gal = 640 lbs + propane tank + attach hardware + wind deflector and added downforce of the wind all at a very high point on an already high CG truck???
Previous 2003 stardard cab PSD, 4x4, long bed, 6" lift 35" tires, tool box few other toys used to hit ths scale several times a year. Always was about 72 to 7300 not loaded.
