Well I used to pull but The vtpa is not my pice of the pie. I'm building a pull truck but now I'm not shure if i will finish it or just sell the motor and every thing with this smoke thing going on. shoot I got warned with my old 4240 jd it's turned up big time. Were pulling a 7 shank willcox ripper behind our 9520 jd and the other 9520 is pulling 3 18 yard reynolds scraper. and bolth have TS box's on them- FordKong

them stx used to be good here in ca I bet you did not know they detuned them and now there dogs just like the deere detuned thers I herd if they smoke at all have to be tuned to not what a bunch of crap.- FordKong

cheep? 285k is cheep well ok then i'm from hilmar and I deal with ranchers tractor in merced just about have all the parts every time. and if they don't. they give us a new one off the lot. and the only resion your seeing a lot of class chopers is they have a hell of a lease option going on...- FordKong

You guys are nuts on Our farm we have tryed that red Junk all it did was cost more money to fix than it was worth. WE now have 2, 9400 that never give any troble bolth have over 6500hr 1, 9520 good tractor after it got turned up. also have 2 4995 swathers best we have ever owned. Also have 2...- FordKong

My 97 not runing right
MY 97 psd is iddleing bad after it been shut off and starts hot it will run ruff and then die and surg going down the road driveing slow I have changed the cps and it still did noting any ideas?- FordKong
