Can you run wmo in alh tdi jetta...

This response is a little late but get a test pipe. Wmo quality can vary. Better to save the cat for inspections than plugging it up.

Running new motor oil vs waste motor oil?

Congratulations on your purchase I'm envious. If you convince the guy to bring you more oil have him put it out to the lift gate then lower the lift gate and then you can put the pallet jack underneath and move the oil. I'll give you some quick information I gleaned when using WMO with my IDI's...

    Actually retrieving WMO

I've done it many times no matter what I always try to bring a container I try to bring a pump and I always try to figure out a way to make it as quick and easy as possible so you're not getting in the way of their workers. If you can do it in such a way to make their job easier that helps too...

No title free truck worth it?

I looked up the DMV website to the forms section. https://dmvnv.com/dmvforms.htm The forms that would most likely be needed to get a duplicate title would be a vehicle inspection form in the registration section. In the ownership section it would be bill of sale application with duplicate...

No title free truck worth it?

I suggested the process of going through the Nevada DMVs away good truck intact and on the road and also because it's inexpensive. Some states like Nevada consider a vehicle with a different frame number from the cab be an alteration of the vin. For instance with proper documentation for the...

No title free truck worth it?

I'm in Nevada and I've done a lot of title work in the past let me see if I can give you an understanding what it would take to get a title. Fitness in her name without liens then she can do an application for duplicate title and a bill of sale to you the duplicate title has to be notarized the...

Yeh, Sad Day. Rare IDI E Gone.

Newer vehicles tend to be mandated by a rule of 55%, so if if the cost to repair damage to a vehicle exceeds 55% of value then they total the car. A lot of times the insurance companies use the 55% rule even though they're not mandated to use it on the older vehicles now they're trying to save a...

Yeh, Sad Day. Rare IDI E Gone.

One thing for people to be aware of in the case of the Mercedes I had to sue the trucking company to get paid which of course they didn't show up. I got paid by default. Progressive cut me a check but then they also put a negative in my clue report so when I went shopping for insurance it was...

Yeh, Sad Day. Rare IDI E Gone.

My knowledge of insurance companies comes from personal experience I got screwed years ago by Allstate when a drunk driver hit my car dolly and my pickup truck and was arrested but the owner of the car tonight allowing him to drive the car funny thing was though the next day the drunk driver was...

    WVO designs raw power fuge

I've been using my centrifuge to clean vegetable oil mixed with 60% diesel. I found in the summertime I can use this percentage without having installed a second tank. I have a hose connected to a piece of thin copper tubing and I do a gravity feed so it takes almost an hour to do 5 gallons. I...

Yeh, Sad Day. Rare IDI E Gone.

Since other drivers ins company denied claim because he didn't state he was using the car for business it's time to file a lawsuit in small claims against the driver and door dash. Problem is you need an estimate, even if it states damage exceeds vehicle value. Also copies of the title

Yeh, Sad Day. Rare IDI E Gone.

I've seen many people in a jam when their vehicle was sitting in a row yard accruing fees and about to be auctioned off. I myself had to sit on a mangled Mercedes while I sued a trucking company and driver with code enforcement hassling me.

Oh man .. you may have just given up on your claim. I hope you got a repair estimate before sending the van away. The rule in claims is the damaged vehicle is supposed to be available during the claims process.s

Some years back I had some red in gallon containers out in the back yard. The red dye was fading from the sunlight.

Is mineral oil good for fuel?

Well, first off used cooking oil (wvo) isn't a mineral oil. Wvo is a plant and/or animal fat product that does not contain petroleum based oil products. As to your question I'm guessing you're meaning to use the wvo in an unmodified fuel system. Since we are now coming up on winter outside temps...

    Red Diesel Smells funny?

I found this on a web site Off road Diesel #2 and Home Heating Oil / Fuel Oil # 2 apparently differ only in the tax applied at the time of sale Home Heating Oil / Fuel Oil #4 and Home Heating Oil / Fuel Oil #6 have a higher BTU content. This is normally accomplished by adding much heavier...

I had a jetta follow me home from San Jose

A lot of people were looking at me funny during my drive back to Reno. The silver car is an 02 auto trans. Black car is 04 BEW manual trans. Only problem I had occurred just east of Colfax. My boost tube from the maf to the intake separated from it's connection at the maf. Car went into limp...

    i know i'm a doofus.... BUT

What about the ball joints? I did some on a Cummins powered Dodge. The wheels had a lot of negative camber. That truck is a solid axle but a TTB axle would look like sagging springs. If the ball joints on your truck are original then you are overdue for them to be replaced.

    Hydraulic Fluid

not as good as kero but still is useable. Say you run 80% wmo and 20% kero. Try 70% wmo, 15% watf, and 15% kero for starters. I'm sure you'll be able to increase the watf percentage and still be able to burn that stuff decently. The fact that it's free makes using it worthwhile. I also like that...

Is mineral oil good for fuel?

Well, here is the skinny on this stuff after 14 or 15 months of use. I've been using it in place of diesel. I start on it and do my local driving on the stuff. Some of what I get has ink and some is clear. I let the inky stuff settle for a while then siphon off the top. The inky stuff smells a...

Sulfo-chlorinated Oil AKA Met-Cut Cutting Oil and Other Machine Oils

I was trying to keep all this a secret while investigating the possibilities as a fuel. 2 things have hindered my progress though, car accidents and my centrifuge building project. My thoughts a while back about mixing water to release impurities is directly to collection of these oils
