    Got her done today finally! Just curious how many people have changed there rear end oil? Every place I have come to on internet showed a hair over 4 quarts so I ordered 5. I could only get around 3 and half or so before it starting running out of the front fill plug. Did I do something wrong??

    more than enough. I think I had the wrong convertor in my transmission. I would go 4 speed and not worry about it. The cost of the 4bt stuff is way more than the 5.9. I would go stock non intercooled 89-90 6bt and not turn it up. Plenty out there and no problem with install.

    The 4bt I just had to build or weld up mounts for the engine and the pan was around 2" away from the steering bar. The IDI had 2" of the oil pan took out and custom made engine mounts and stands.     I like my c6 with gear vendor but I would love to have the lockup. I cant get my c6 to shift right no matter how I set the vacuum screw or adjust the vacumm sensor thing on the pump. I have a long lokar shifter and shift like I have a manual valve body.
