Guys got a gear vendors adapter for a 1345 t case. My 97 f350 has a 1356 im pretty certain.
Will this only fit the 1345? Or could I use it with mine. Trying to figure this out.
so now that webshots switched owners or whatever, how are we to see this awesome build??!
try clicking the link in his sig,,,,sad day trying to view all of this
So as most of you by now know that my vehicle fleet runs on waste vegetable oil and I have some fun engineering that’s actually useful I thought you would get a kick out of.
As I close in on completing my next daily driver the Grease Beast (1985 CUCV M1009 K5 military blazer) I have been...
Nice! I was wondering about that. Yes the gear inside the timing cover I left intact I just removed the three bolts and that bolt through this gear and took the pump off.
so as long as I get the dowel lined up in its mating hole on the gear there should be no way to screw that up correct?
So took my pump and injectors manifold etc off to have them rebuilt. I was an idiot and left the keys in the ignition and my drunken buddy hit the starter and the engine spun around a few times. So basically I can guess that my alignment etc for the pump timing is all fuggered up now.... fun...
so this may sound crazy but its fact so please take it seriously.
When i was a kid the local public station (KCTS Seattle) had one of these science for kids/teens shows on and i cannot recall what the heck it was called but anyways they took brand new veggie oil of the store shelf and made...
so almost done restoring an old burb, previous owner put some huge lift on it. i want it back to stock ish height. Anyone know where i can buy good American made springs etc? I found this place who seems to have all stock replacement stuff...
well thats the thing, after looking it appears there is a different stamping cutout. Im wondering if its even possible for me to cutout the metal and weld in the correct stuff for the third seat
so i have a really nice old burban. It is fully loaded except it never came with a third seat(kinda crazy because it has front and rear A/C.... i want a third seat. Anyone have knowledge if the third rear seat can be easily added or?
i keep breaking off door handles as well this is the third one
im starting to think there is a bigger issue now.
captain morgan- does that fix relieve the pressure off of it or?
No I never did buy one. The local wrecking place wanted 1150 for a "used unknown condition" so basically that is a big no. Such is why I'm asking about the other options. A zf6 with a short throw shifter would be nice too. But a true ten speed wih overdrive would be ideal. It all gets back to...
"If it has the spring type clamp, that may be the problem. Replace it with a gear clamp, but you have to drain some coolant out and save it, then put it back in."
i assume your talking about the hose clamps?
so i parked my truck the other night after driving it for a few hours etc etc. The next morning when i went out i noticed a small puddle of coolant in a drip line directly in front of the front most part of the oil pan by the balancer. Tracing the coolant is a little tuff but, it appears that it...
its actually on a really old cj5 that has a 350 chevy in it, but i posted it here because you're in the know for all stuff old! :)
what is the actual part number though?or i was thinking of twin 12 si alternators, depends on the cost of the single ho alternator
yeah definitely. Im trying to figure out what i am going to use to keep the vibration from tearing the lugs apart. I think i may have to crimp them, maybe that extreme force will keep them on there...
