    Not sure if it matters but I have no fuel in the oil and every time I cleared that cylinder through the glow plugs hole it knocked the valve cover over with the residual oil in the cylinder.

    Quite a bit. To be honest I don't notice any difference in blow by, but I could be wrong. I always thought there was a lot of blow by but the motor always ran strong.

    I probably shouldn't have done this but I also tied a jumper wire from the IDM harness to the harness just before the plug to the gasket/ harness. No change.     Yes I did swap out harness and switched injectors. Both fire in hole one but not the second hole.

    New valve cover gaskets and harnesses. Might not matter but I did replace them. Just tried to crank it. Wouldn't fully start. Still got air?

    I rebuilt them. All within tolerances. Everything should work. Never imagined it would take this to purge.

    Got it to fire off and run. It's still not right. It will rev up. Only clears up at 1300 rpm and up. Will idle but rough. Won't rev down to an idle but I can start it with no throttle and it will idle but rough. I have had a bit of experience with gas motors and it acts alot like cam/ crank...

    Already changed the IPR and unplugged the ICP. Also pulled the IDM looked clean no water inside or evidence of anything wrong with it. When it does fire it only spins a little faster than the starter turns it. It got to 1200 rpm at wot.. Ran for 30 seconds and died. Any thoughts?

    Nope, just means the service engine soon light is on again and no o/d off light constant. It's got to be something else. It shouldn't take 5 days to crank the air out. Acts like a cam sensor or crank sensor. Or I was thinking hpop.

    About ten to fifteen seconds. It started but ran bad bad bad. Worse than when you run one out of fuel and restart.

    Using the Bosch not sure about model number but it cost me around$249 + tax. Parts guy said he used it on several diesels. An 02 specifically.

    I tried to add my truck. Not sure if it took. No other codes. Says 0 codes found. But also says can't link with ECM. It's an 01' with 400,000 + on it but was running strong before the injectors rebuild.

    Finally got the scanner to connect but it couldn't connect to the ECM. Could this mean my ECM is bad?
