weird scenes inside the MAP sensor
so I get a call from the kid about two weeks ago.. truck won't start. Luckily, it's in the driveway at home, and it's nearly closing time at the shop. I grab my MODIS and drag it home with me. I hook it up to the truck, arm the movie, and hit the key; the truck roars to life. Hmm. Ok...- JLDickmon

couple weeks ago, I did something I hadn't done in years... rebuilt a TFI distributor in my old blue hunk of poopy... DTC 17/18
friends '95 GMC has been throwing DTC 17 & 18 pretty consistent with a lurch when the SES light illuminates (kicking itself into limp mode) I havent had time to run the diag tree on it, so this may be a premature question... is the optical sensor on the injector pump a pretty common failure...- JLDickmon
