Only return line to frame rail fuel filter.

I'm thinking of adding a water separator filter on the return upside down. Should catch air the same way as water then the drain would work as a purge. But not really needed so far priming the truck has never been easier, had the fuel system apart several times. The tank being so high dose a...

Only return line to frame rail fuel filter.

I started plumbing in my 120 gallon bed transfer tank to my 95 12v cummins. I only have 1 3/4 inch drain in the tank and decided to run 3/4 in to my cat style filter base without a return. I didn't want to run a return up to the top of the tank as i also use it to transport off road diesel. I...

I'M ADDICTED! WHERE WERE ALL THE WARNINGS?

That sounds amazing, ever have a Sunday night when you scramble to figure out which one you need to fix so you have one to drive to work in the morning. My problem is I buy another instead of fixing the ones I have. :/ I feel better knowing I'm not the only one.

I'M ADDICTED! WHERE WERE ALL THE WARNINGS?

I just wanted to warn everyone this hobby is highly addictive, I just woke up after another long night realizing I have another f250 on the truck with out a motor, a shop kept mystery 7.3/6.9 idi in my front yard. A running 4door long bed 7.3 ps in the back yard with the interior strpped and...

My Isuzu pup IDI converting to waste oil

I find the tundra block interesting, I'm planning on using simular blocks on my 12v with cat threads, but I've converted my common rail with the cat base that replaces the stock filter bowl. I guess the thread extension is what I need to find. I even saved a couple oil coolers from rebuilt fords...

Stainless keg tank on exhaust side of driveline.

Yeah I keep thinking of that, my point was to utilize the realistate on the exhaust side of the driveline. Never thought about it because of the heat from the exhaust. But with oil perhaps it a pro.

Stainless keg tank on exhaust side of driveline.

I'm still looking for a sip tank for my 95 12v but I love large under bed hidden tanks. Im also dealing with cold oil. Any thoughts on putting a stainless tank near the exhaust. Heat the oil and clamp some realistate under the bed.

New here. Different approach to wmo filters.

I've thought of a few ways also, im leaning towards a transfer tank first. Bosh and another makes a low volume sub micron spin on filter for a bypass filter. If the lift pump was strong enough I imagine the best place would be on the return before the regulator. I don't think thease low volume...

New here. Different approach to wmo filters.

Also the pump I estimate 1 gal in 5min just ball parking still slow but set and forget. I read tp will filter out carbon, I reprocessed a batch for several hours thinking it would remove the black while it didn't I do noticed the processed oil did not seem to stain my hands and clothes like it...

New here. Different approach to wmo filters.

Here's the setup I've been using. More or less the very some but both have 3 filters in parellel and a truth hill pump 110v or 220v with ajustable bypass. I tent to run 12-20 psi. The prime decent until this cold spell but I can usually just move my dip tube up and down in the barrel until it...

New here. Different approach to wmo filters.

I've now found some motor guard 3 filter units with pumps more or less made for what I'm doing. They run 3 filters in parellel and the aio unit is rather nice. Im using scots 1000 but the actual elements are fairly cheap and I think I can get them at napa. I haven't really a way to test but I...

    Dual tanks 2nd gen 12v

I like the dual tanks in my obs fords. I also spotted a 42gal bronco tan scratch and dent on Amazon and replaced the rear tank in my powerstroke with it. Now a buddy of mine was cleaning out his grage and offered me a good condition 98 chevy surburban 40 gallon tank. I want to run black diesel...

How do you start your engine on WMO?

The clicker has worked great, granted it hasn't got below 70 F yet but I'm also not cutting, straight wmo. The only issue was i just ran it to the batt and i forgot it on all night and had dead batteries in the morning.. Time will tell i guess, for anyone ordering the filter housing i should let...

How do you start your engine on WMO?

I bought a 86 f250 with a 7.3 idi and a 4 speed with an ats turbo that sat for 15 years. I bought it specifically for running wmo because I didn't want to hurt my other trucks. I'm trying not to put alot of money in it until it pays for itself in fuel savings. I used one of thease clicker pumps...

    Brass injector return caps

I know I'm digging up an old thread, but I got myself an old idi to burn the black diesel. Despite not needing to fix whats not broken my adhd mind is always trying to reinvent the wheel. I've been digging for months and I've seen the brass cap and the billet r/d rails but has anyone found...

WMO in 3rd or 4th Gen Cummins

I'm far from an expert, but its not a good idea. Just a little water can destroy injectors and they cost more for 3rd and 4th gen and more to replace. They run higher pressures weaker lifts and hp fuel pumps and the stock filter on 3rd gen 5.9 isn't even up to cummins requirements for the motor...

New here. Different approach to wmo filters.

Hello I've been messing around with oil for awhile now and think I've finally got a setup that's working. I have invested alot of R&D, made alot of messes and blow a few filters up in my face. I should have taken more pictures along the way but I figured it would be selfish not to share. My...
