My 96 F450 with 460 gas engine caught on fire and burned the main wiring harness on it and I need one but can't find it around here,please if anybody can help me find one or know where I can get one please let me know this truck is our work truck and we need it back on the road,thanks for any help- NHBaler

96 F250 no turn signals,no brake lights,no reverse lights HELP
Well found my problem the 4 way switch was on and that takes all the juice so nothing else will work but the 4 way flashers arent working like a bad flasher or something so I didnt know the switch was on any way I turned them off and the other lights started working easy fix,but thanks for all...- NHBaler

On my 96 F250 with a 351 I have no turn signals,no brake light,no backup lights,no four flashers this happened awhile back and I changed out the turn signal assembly and it fixed it and now it is out again so I got another switch from another parts store and it hasnt fixed it and the wipers do...- NHBaler

My '96 F250 with a 351 the turn signal and the brake lights and the hazard lights quit working after reading the information in the archieves seems like it is going to be the turn signal switch,it has tilt steering cruise control,how do I take it out? Hopefully dont have to remove the steering...- NHBaler

2000 stroker that was dead finally came to life
Well after a lot of cranking it finally came to life!!!! THANKS for all the help from you guys couldnt have done it with out yalls help! OK if it is smoking and it is trying to crank but just want go on and start does that tell you that everything is working? When I first start turning it over it want smoke and then it starts smoking and trying to,how can I check the glow plugs,the wts light is working and I have it plugged in...- NHBaler

OK I plugged it in and the block is warm and it is smoking and spinning over with a battery charger and another truck and it trys to start like it is hitting but just want quite run on its own any suggestions?- NHBaler

Yeah I sucked it out and put fresh oil in it wanted everything good I finally got it to hit a time or two so I am going to leave it plugged in and tomorrow afternoon maybe it will crank and also tapped on the IPR maybe one of those little plungers where stuck but I am getting closer,we are going...- NHBaler

UPDATE I changed the oil and put Mobil in it, still no start no tach movement but a little gray smoke out of the tailpipe so there is hope yet,I thought I had read that you have to crank it awhile to get the air out of the HPOP is this true? Plugged in the block heater and I will see if it is...- NHBaler

I got the new CPS from ABC auto parts and it is gray also took the one out of the 99 and tried it (a black one) and the same thing-nothing. I am going to change the oil and possibly go to international and get another one THANKS- NHBaler

OK I might try the tractor supply oil going to drain it today and let it drain until tomorrow and should I drain the HPOP oil reservoir also and then it will all be fresh oil? Oh yeah cant remember how many qts of oil it holds- NHBaler

Thanks for that info,I am going to find thatIDM and make sure the nut is on it and the oil is full but would need changing and yes the mechanic did pull the valve covers and I think he did have to fix a couple of wires that were in question I will keep you guys posted and we will get it running...- NHBaler

No but it is tightif I am seeing the right one. I think it is behind the fuel filter but havent found a tin nut like some have mentioned that can get loose- NHBaler

OK I have checked everything and still nothing,I have another truck which is a 99 and changed out some parts but nothing and I did notice that a breaker was missing under the dash so I got the one from the other truck and turn over the tach moved just a hair and it was turning over fast so I...- NHBaler

No I dont have a manual for the truck,the fuses under the dash I did check with the key on and there is not a fuse on the lower right corner or any kind of wires to that plug. I will go check the wiring harness like you said and unplug the ICP sensor also I will change out the relays with...- NHBaler
