Replacement water separator idea
Little late to this but figured I would add for anyone doing this in the future. A few months ago I want with an electric lift pump so water separator was necessary. I went with the cat 175-2949. Glow plugs are ******* me off
Have a 90 7.3 idi. Bone stock. My glowplugs were fouled out so I replaced them, system seemed to work fine before replacing just weak. My truck has been running very reliably for many months but after a few hours sitting today no start. Won’t even try. Cranked real fast, glow plugs are working fine and new. 1990 7.3 idi e4od transmission issues
A good shop near me did the rebuild. I do have it warrantied but I thought it might be electrical so I wanted to figure it out myself as it’s my only truck running right now. Od light is not flashing and the shifter is adjusted perfectly- KyleJamesBrockman
