7.3 idi starts, runs, and then dies
I had the same problem… mine was the fuel filter heater “O” ring.. they apparently get worn out over a few years and need replacing, and they will cause air intrusion…I just removed mine and threaded the hole and put a bolt in….Never had the issue again. only other thing I can think of is really...- Littleredrig

What is this?
It’s your glow plug relay, usually it’s in the back of the engine towards the firewall… Looks like it has been relocated… I would try to find a cover for it.- Littleredrig
