Hey I’m looking to redo the weather stripping on my 85 CC, does anyone know where to get the window felts and runs for the rear doors? I can find them for the fronts, but the backs not so much.

    Leaking windshield

Has anyone tried flowable silicon to stop their windshield from leaking? I got the cowl to firewall section all sealed up on my 85, the only stop it’s coming from now is the windshield. I called one guy to pull the windshield and replace the butyl seal and he had no clue what I was talking...

    Interior refresh

I finally tracked down all the interior trim panels I need for my crew cab bullnose and am looking to color match. Currently between the SEM color coat or classic coat. Just hoping to hear if anyone has had any experience with either and has any insight.

    Passenger side coolant leak

Okay so I have a coolant leak on the passenger side of my truck. Its an 85 crew cab 6.9 with a t19. The coolant is coming off the motor somewhere then dripping off the passenger side front wheel wheel and also dripping off the inspection cover for the t19. It drips when the motor is off and I’ve...

    Clutch noise

At higher rpm’s and I push the clutch in fast I hear a loud bang. It’s a 6.9 Idi t-19 3.55 gears with a new clutch. Wondering what this noise could be. Maybe U-joint?cookoocookoo

    86 clutch fork

I got my clutch replaced over the summer and the pilot bearing has been squeaking ever since. It’s driving me nuts and from the research I’ve done it’s the clutch fork isn’t applying enough pressure on it and it’s just barely making contact causing the squeak. Seems like the fix is to swap out...

    Will it tow?

I have an 86 350 single cab dually with a 6.9 and T19. It’s bone stock and I’m probably sitting at around 8000lb curb weight with all my tools and welding machine. I might go buy an 85 250 idi 4x4 single cab with a plow. I’m guessing that truck will be around 5500-6000lbs curb weight. My...

    Head units

What kind of head units are you guys putting into bullnose trucks? I have an 86 and the stock radio won’t hold a station for more than 5 minutes. I’d like to put in a newer head unit maybe with some Bluetooth capabilities that Will fit in the factory location without having to cut up the bezel.

    Fueling issues?

Does anyone else have problems filling their tanks with diesel? My truck has dual tanks and they take forever to fill. If I try and go too fast the diesel just comes splashing back out at me. Any common mods to fix the issue?

    Clutch job nightmare

After the clutch went bad in my 86 F350 with a T19 I decided instead of taking a day off work to do the clutch in my driveway I would treat myself and have a mechanic do it. That was my first mistake. After taking 5 weeks to do the job they told me they replaced the clutch, flywheel, pilot...

    6.9 low/no power

I have an 86 Idi 4 speed 2wd truck that I’ve put about 700 miles since purchasing it. I changed out all the fluids and filters when I bought it. It’s been running really well for me up until today. It seemed like the engine was running at a higher RPM that was I was use to and it progressively...

    6.9 gauge reading cold

I have an 86 6.9 idi new to me by about two months. The truck has never gotten up to the middle of the temperature gauge as long as I’ve had it. I drove it home from Massachusetts’s to NJ on a hot July day and the gauge never got above the C mark on the dash. I figured it was a faulty sender so...
