Crank and piston color
Crank rod journals show heat discoloration and the pistons…how can they be that clean? Truck has around 250k on it, I don’t really know it’s history. Thoughts? Factory or rebuilt at some point? Should the pistons have ford markings or IH markings on them I can identify?- TurboDan

New head gaskets worth it?
I have the cab off, engine is easily accessible, and I'm adding a Banks turbo. Engine didn't seem to have any problems previously, truck has around 250k miles on it. 1993 IDI Turbo install
It turned into a bigger project than planned, I guess that's probably a thing :-) So adding a turbo, adding a Moose Junior pump, and some other stuff along the way. New member, Ford truck fixup
Very slowly getting the truck back on the road. 1993 F-250 4x4 that someone converted to DRW and a flat bed. Adding a turbo and a new Moose Jr pump among other things.
