    Mechanical V. Electric Fuel Pump

    I just replaced my mechanical pump with an electric pump and it's a night and day difference! The electric pump is more efficient and my engine runs a lot smoother as well.

    The rebuilt IP was bad, they reimburse me and I got a IP from the junkyard and put that it. I was able to get that timed up and had to change a new injector because it was defective. Now the truck is running well and smooth!

    I got it to run a little better today. It just seems like whenever I adjust the IP,it doesn’t show with the timing light. Only way I can tell is my driving or the smoke out the exhaust.

    ***update*** Got the diesel converter box from UK. Took about a week. Got everything all setup, started doing the timing, everything went well. When I started driving and hit 2k RPM I feel a lost of power. I will do the timing again on Sunday because I got frustrated.
