My truck will never see 400000 Km
Speaking out of the question on this of not seeing 400k on the Odometer. Would anyone know the easiest way to change the odometer reading. A friends odometer digital display quit working and I have another one handy to swap out, but need to update EPROM with correct mileage.- Brent

Troubleshooting my 7.3 IDI
Okay I got the ATF done and let it set for 36 hours in the IP. Started up and went to let it idle while getting out of truck she dies. Got her started again and while pressing accelerator she is having erratic rpm's along with like starving for fuel. Having an excessive amount of white smoke...- Brent

Front tank sending unit.
@Selahdoor as far as your sending unit for your front tank is the same for plastic and metal. There should be a stamp of the manufacturer near the filler neck area. There are only a few manufacturers (MTS and Titian) that bought the molds for the plastic tanks. They should mount to the frame...- Brent

I got my sending unit from mts for $76.00 for my 92 f-250. This doesn’t include the foot which they sell for $23 in which it’s cheaper than auto parts store. Reference off mtscompany website- Brent

Troubleshooting my 7.3 IDI
When I changed out my fuel filter I put diesel Kleen in it. Today I put atf in it an letting it sit for a couple of days. I did opened up the solenoid and viewed atf was in the bowl and lines. Will update to see if that works.- Brent

Rear fuel tank
Ford never really changed a lot on fuel tanks during those years. If I remember right there was one 23 gallon fuel tank option in which I had a 23 gal on my 77 f-150. http://www.mtscompany.com/ford.htm has plastic ones with a decent price. https://www.gastankdepot.com has steel ones. Higher price but good quality than what you pick up at any auto parts store.- Brent
