Think I’ve narrowed down some of my fuel issues guys. I systematically checked the fuel pressure with the pump on first. What I found out was that the pump would prime and hold pressure everywhere before the IP at around 7 psi. As I worked my way back the pressure really didn’t change. So...- 6moose9

aggiediesel01 / genscripter I was able to clean the tanks before I did all my lines. My next step was to reseal my manifold and then pull fuel from a bucket to check and see where the leak/air was getting in. genscripter do you have timing tools by chance? IDI GODS WERE GOOD TO ME! I got oil pressure! I lucked out today and was able to prime my motor in the van and adverted having to pull the pan because I thought it was pump pressure. I wanted to check and see if my pressure relief valve was stuck closed also and this test seemed to work for...- 6moose9

Worked on the van a little bit today, still no oil pressure. Is there anyway to prime the oil system with the motor in the van? Perhaps back feeding the pump since it’s dry. Alright, so I got the old motor out. Stripped it down to the block so I could save any good usable parts from it (water pump/oil pump/etc).
