And even Pollak and SMP say their FSV will work...but they do not look like this....the lines are reversed, and the mounting points don't match up...this isn't even proprietary BS...Pigtail orientation doesn't matter, nor whether its a blade type or bullet type...adapters are available...usually...

    compression values

Cool beans...so if 400 is good, what would be the minimum for decent compression? Is there a lower value that one should not go below when deciding whether to spend more $$ on an engine unless a rebuild is next on the list?

So...can anyone here tell me why this FSV costs $500+ and all the others cost $69.99?

    compression values

Actually, I was asking what are 'normal" numbers for an engine in good shape...should be a range of values out there...xxx pounds when new....xxx pounds when getting ready to die at 500,000 miles...that will give me a good idea of what kind of shape that engine is in... Numbers like 150 pounds...

    Premature GP failure

Ja, that might be the solution for now...don't want to mess with the fuel system on a piecemeal basis...if and when I do, it will be the whole schmazozzle...IP, injectors, lines...the whole thing.
