ZF Question for those that have had or do have Gear oil in
Just picked up 1989 F Super Duty Dump the Trans has a PTO On it and it has Gear oil in it.. I know it should have ATF. just wondering how to or should I flush it some how?? Drove it for an hour or so,, actually seemed ok. appreciate any advise. Thanks John- metrojd

Radiator suggestions
Thanks for all the replies. Just bought the truck drove it a little over an hour to get it home and it overheated. When I looked at the rad it looks like it might have a small leak or 2 in the core. The biggest problem is the top talk looks like it split at the seam. There isn’t a lot of rad...- metrojd

More IDI PARTS... IM DOING A IDI TO PSD CONVERSION... IDI AND PPARTS FOR SALE

Idi to power stroke
The dash isn't all that bad. Pull the collum and the emergency brake pedal. The cluster and the kick panels. There aren't as many bolts as you would think. Un plug harness at kick panels including the grounds and The firewall. Disconnect heater cables or vacuum lines. I pulled my dash...- metrojd

Idi to power stroke
I did my CC Need all under hood wiring and IDM , dash wiring,PCM and bracket throttle pedal. When I did mine I put the power stroke and Radiator brackets in, overflow and washer bottle I used a 96 wiring in my 93. Had to change a few pins in the connector for the back lights.- metrojd

Hydra boost question
Looks like a ps fluid and trans. Mix..... I just topped it off with mercon. Tried turning all the way right and all the way left to bleed out any air. Drove it about 8 miles seems fine but wines like its low.. Any suggestions? Thanks John- metrojd

Hydra boost question
Leaking inside the cab and once I park, it leaves a puddle under we're the driver side . Looks like it's coming from around the small beer can looking thing area.... Brakes and steering all seem good though..- metrojd

Hydra boost question
My hydra boost is leaking on my 450. I have a new one coming Monday from ford. My question is ....... Anything I should know about changing it?.?? Tips?? Do I need to bleed it in any way?. Never delt with hydra boost before. Thanks John- metrojd

I appreciate all the Input.. I just picked up this truck and it had this set up on it.. I need to figure out something.. its slobbering oil all over the Drivers Side. I was thinking about brakecleaning it and using some of the Fort Gray Sealer....- metrojd

No , It's just a short preformed piece of Rubber hose with a grommet molded on one end. Any idea?? Thanks John- metrojd

Parting out - 1992 F-250 Diesel
