Info on turbo by Turbo Engineering Inc.
I have a 1985 6.9 liter engine with a turbo setup that was made by a company called Turbo Engineering Inc. At least that is the name cast into the exhaust manifold and the air intake. 6.9 IDI Piston Ring Source
Does anyone know where to find piston rings for an '85 6.9 IDI? The only ones I can find are the Sealed Power E447K. I have ordered two sets of these now and both were the wrong size. 6.9 rebuilding tips
After grinding the seats, all my valves are sitting too low in the head. The valve head recession relative to the head surface is from 0.055" to 0.072". My book says it should be 0.043" to 0.055". I know I can't get less than the minimum, but what happens if I exceed the maximum? For now I am...- Mailbox

Thanks for all the tips and the manual posting. I do have the press in cooling jets. I expect to ruin at least one of them so hopefully I can get new ones. I would like to balance my engine but I probably don't want to pay a machine shop to do it. Does anyone know an old school method to do it...- Mailbox
