Well they have 0ohms we will see if this pcm fixes it I bit the bullet bad got it because I need my truck back asap. So its supposed to arrive monday. I appreciate all your guys help. If it doesnt fix it I will keep you guys updated.- Dallas kovach

What is the Gb reman site? And yeah at the shop they told me they looked over the harness connector for the idm and pcm and Main wiring harness in engine bay and to the ipr also but it doesnt hurt to check for myself.- Dallas kovach

In your opinion what else should I check before I buy a pcm? Could it possibly be the harness connector to the pcm? I cleaned it with electronic cleaner and dried it out about a week ago but there was no change- Dallas kovach

When it was at the shop it would not build above 200psi oil pressure but as soon as you grounded the ipr it would shoot up to 500 and start right up.- Dallas kovach

Unfortunately I don't. And yes I have tried cranking with icp unplugged. I do know that it wont build above 200psi oil pressure but brand new hpop,lines,icp,ipr,idm,cps, a bunch of pig tails and other things too I can't think of right now- Dallas kovach

Yes I've gone over all wiring and cleaned out harness connectors and everything. Same thing happened to me about a month prior to this condition I have now. Go back a page and i said exactly what i replaced. I've replaced pig tail on ipr,icp, cps and as for the chaffing on the passenger side...- Dallas kovach

Yes I deleted the fuel bowl heater wires and water in fuel and all wires were checked on the harness- Dallas kovach

Did all the tests on the pcm I can possibly do. And took it to a diesel expert and had him verify it's the pcm. It's not sending enough voltage to the ipr to actuate it. It's only getting 4volts and apparently it's not grounding it out I believe but I've replaced idm,ipr,hpop,cps,icp sensor...- Dallas kovach

Yeah that's very possible. Thank you for the idea. I'm gonna talk to a few guys. I know exactly what's wrong with the pcm but can't find any pictures showing exactly what needs to be repaired on it. But I know that the computer is not sending enough voltage to the ipr. Took forever to track this...- Dallas kovach

Yeah the only problem is they must be a failing part at this time because they are all around houston and surrounding cities but the pcms are all gone. I can only find like 99+ pcm but no obs 94.5-97. I've searched everywhere that's why I figured I'd give it a shot and see if maybe had one...- Dallas kovach

Positive this is it. And I appreciate your help on that but took it to a few different mechanics and a powerstroke wiring expert and he double checked everything. My pcm has been getting water dropped on it I believe from my leaking windshield. That's besides the point. It isnt sending enough...- Dallas kovach

okay I'm gonna pull it off and see if there is any signs on water or anything inside of it. and go from there. could my ipr be just faulty out of the box? it was from Napa claimed to be a ford dealer part.- Dallas kovach
