I installed 2 check valves 1from the outlet of the pump that goes to fuel filter and 1 where it pulls from the tank. I heard the faucet duralift pump pushed better than it pulled
Hey guys and merry Christmas!
So a couple weeks ago I took off my mech fuel pump and put a e pump on. I installed it in the engine bay and not back on the frame so it pulls instead of pushes. So here is my morning routine since install. 1. Pop hood 2. Grab half empty can of starting fluid 3...
Hey guys. My 93 F-250 idi NA was crushed by a oak tree and it’s totaled. The body is FUBAR but the engine and trans and everything else should be fine. It’s a NA with e40d behind it. It never won races but it alway got to the finish line. I’m located a little north of Asheville NC. Best offer...
94 idit. I just got in my metal door handles due to the broken plastic one on the drivers side i bought it this way. So I installed the new shiny metal one and shut myself in there I pulled the handle and it won’t let me out! It doesn’t feel like it’s coming all the way up. I pushed the lock...
I was thinking about turning the ip up a flat I’ve never done it to this truck. I don’t have a egt gauge but I don’t think 1 flat on a NA motor is gonna melt much.
I live in the mountains of North Carolina. The truck can run 70 mph on flat no problem but once a slight incline comes in to play it backs down to 60mph and on a steep hill 50mph. I have the e4od and I’m thinking the fipl might need tweaked due to a good take off in 1st then 2nd and almost...
I have a 93 NA 7.3 it runs nice it’s never given me trouble I was just wondering if there is anything out there that would let it get more air. All it has is the soup bowl. All the plastic intake that goes up front was gone when I bought it. Any ideas? I don’t want to turbo it due to my 94 7.3...
Hi guys hope all is well! I recently put a new ip on my 94 idit. Lined up the marks and it runs fine just working bugs out. My idle rpm is a steady 1000 I figure that’s high because my 93 NA idles around 700rpm. I’m sure it’s not a huge thing but wanted to make sure before I went to turning...
I was off work today and decided to look at my situation again. I still can’t locate a copper washer so I assume it wasn’t installed. The pictures below show a hole in my plastic cap which was on the injector that was loose. I don’t know if the loose injector caused the hole but it looks like it...
I pulled the injector which was loose I unscrewed it by hand. No copper washer to be found on the injector or in the engine. This is the second injector that this has happened to since I got the truck. I’m thinking about replacing the injector just gotta order one now
If my line was cracked wouldn’t fuel be spraying around the nut? My fuel is spraying down at the cap where the rubber line goes into the injector kinda like there is no where for the fuel to go
