If the controller is fried, the relay is probably not great either. I ousted my melted controller and just wired a simple relay with the existing harness. D50 bucks and hops when turning in 4x4, but I'm running it as a FWD, what gives?
Operated a CJ7 in FWD after breaking one of the rear Dana axles back in the day. Never had an issue like that. But I've driven some Fords that simply don't seem to have any slip in the front differential after locking the hubs.- RuzzL

r134a is also being phased out and has never been an efficient refrigerant. I'm going the new flammable route on my build. https://www.es-refrigerants.com Also, the laws have changed in the last several years regarding r12/134a replacement.- RuzzL

Particulate filter on IDI?
Just switch to bio-diesel. Either find a supplier, get a kit to make it, or a kit to run heated fryer grease off secondary tank.- RuzzL

Rear mirror adhesive that actually works?
Always used whatever 2-part epoxy I have on hand like JB Weld. Cleaned mating surfaces with either acetone, fingernail polish remover, or denatured alcohol. Use some masking tape to hold the mount bit to the windshield until epoxy cures most of the way (overnight to 12 hours depending on...- RuzzL

Never take my vehicle to their shop, you absolutely can't trust them to do things the right way. I bought a cheap tire tool from Harbor Freight and mounted it in the shop.
