Tachometer adjustment ?
I remember seeing in some random thread that there was a way to adjust the tach? There is this white potentiometer? On abck of the tach is this an adjustment ? My tach just goes nuts when wide open and pegs 4500rpm.... Tach sensor is new, and the gear is good in shape. Wiring seems okay ...- Therkhan7_3Turbo

94 F250 Cluster
So I pulled my cluster out, because my speedo is wiggling ( I just cleaned the VSS ) and the Tachometer is useless, even with a brand new sensor and I haven't seen any wire damage, it just likes to go to 4500rpm when I go wide open. Tachometer issue 94
Is there a way to test the circuit, and if so what readings am I looking for ? My factory tach is useless, when I go wide open after about 2,000rpm it just does what it wants and will peg pass 4k rpm once I get to what I assume is 2900-3200rpm... Sound deadening Questions.
Love my '94 a lot but the road noise, engine noise (I love it, except on a 5 hour + trip ) and rattles are a bit much, how much success have people had quieting the whole cab down a bit with some dynamat ( or a cheaper alternative obviously not as good.) Questions and concerns
So I took my truck on a 4hour trip with my camper and noticed above 2400rpm on rear tank my fuel filter light comes on, front tank doesnt do it all. I have no noticeable leaks anywhere, my system is I'd say 90% air tight ( assuming the top rubbers on my tanks are shot ). Now what would cause...- Therkhan7_3Turbo
