    Bucking on acceleration when warm

    Could very well be. I'm down to one tank because the tank selector failed, and the sending unit has completely failed in the tank I'm using. I'll have to drop the tank one of these days.

    Bucking on acceleration when warm

    Thanks. I'm gonna start with filling up the tank after it starts and see if that gets rid of it, and run a gauge so I can watch the fuel pressure. i'll start reading up more about air intrusion.

    Make the AC better!!!

    What are you're pressures? If the blower were weak or a vent blocked you would be seeing lower than ideal pressures. Unless it's a weak blower and overcharged at the same time. Poor compression on the compressor would give you low head pressure and high suction pressure.

    Bucking on acceleration when warm

    I've been having this problem for a while now. I've never noticed the problem when the truck is cold, after driving for a couple hours or so it starts to buck when I accelerate from stopped especially going up hill. I've tried feathering the clutch in different ways, if i give it more throttle...

    Should I replace alternator bearings?

    Thanks for the replies. I ended up just turning it in for the core refund. It wasn't just the bearings. Some of the fan blades had broken off the stator and had jammed themselves into the windings. I think it temporarily seized up when i was driving because it had some belt dust on the case...

    Should I replace alternator bearings?

    Hey all My Motorcraft alternator in my 1994 IDI F250 was on it's way out making noises, and has some play in the shaft. I was in a rush and had to grab whatever they had at the parts store. Ended up with a remanufactured AC Delco. They charged me a $50 core charge. I'm wondering if it's worth...

    Hard shifting 1st -> 2nd gear with ZF-5

    Ok thanks. I will look those over. I forgot to mention the clutch pedal fell almost to the floor one day when I was driving, and then went back to normal after about 5 minutes. I'm assuming there was a bubble in there that worked its way out. So I'm planning on re-bleeding the system if everyone...

    Hard shifting 1st -> 2nd gear with ZF-5

    Hey thanks for the reply. Well that clears that up. I've only driven modern diesel, and nothing with a gear ratio like this. I was worried about lugging the engine out cause I often see a cloud of smoke if I'm in second gear at a slower speed, but I think I'm just a bit heavy footed. I haven't...

    Hard shifting 1st -> 2nd gear with ZF-5

    Hey all. I recently bought a 1994 F250 it's got 4.10 and a ZF-5 transmission. Clutch was replaced a couple years before I purchased it. It's been rough shifting to and from 1st and 2nd gear, no grinding, just hard to move the shifter into gear. 3rd, 4th, 5th all pretty easy. It's not too bad...

    Extending coolant change interval (switching coolants)

    Thanks. I like the idea of using something like Zerex cause it's easy to find.

    Extending coolant change interval (switching coolants)

    Hey thanks for the replies, I will check out that video. I'm sticking with the plain green + added SCA's for the at least the next couple years since I have everything to do a flush. And probably switch it out afterwards to a longer lasting coolant If I haven't been convinced otherwise. I just...

    Extending coolant change interval (switching coolants)

    Well here's another coolant question for you all, maybe a stupid one but i haven't been able to find an answer. I've done lots of reading but I'm still unsure of what flush intervals people are doing (if any) when they switch to other coolants like CAT, fleet charge, or Fleetguard Compleat EG...
