No interest. Too much other stuff to do. Boats, old cars, will be moving in less than a year, yada yada. This does suck as the truck was dialed in, very reliable. My son is really bummed. hopefully someone on here that lives near by comes and gets it.- Tim McKay

Rotor and axle runout question.
For those that this might help in the future: Installed the Dorman axle, measured runout at the largest diameter of the rotor is now at 0.002” That did the trick. I did inspect the bearing for play and roughness, there was no appreciable play in the bearing And smooth as glass. Hopefully this...- Tim McKay

2001 F250 7.3 Sterling 10.5. Investigating a rotor runout problem on drivers rear. Indicated the axle flange at 0.008” runout, when the rotor is installed it makes it 0.012 - 0.014” runout. What kind of milage can you expect out of a F250 manual 4WD with a 460 and 4.10 rear end? the IDI Diesel my son has gets around 18mpg if you drive it easy.- Tim McKay

IDIT oil pressure delay
No lifter noises, I have been listening for that tell tale. I will go thru the electrical….again, good idea on the ground, that can cause strange gremlins, once had a Corvette with ground issue nightmares. I plan on getting another sending unit based on above suggestion. Thanks for the input...- Tim McKay

I used New Vintage gauges. I thought about the sending unit or guage being bad, but once it starts working, it works just fine. The original guage on the dash would just go to its predetermined spot, as I know its more of a switch than a guage. No funny behavior. Well, the engine hasnt made...- Tim McKay

Vacuum pump pulley.... Anyone got one for sale?
That may be my thread Regarding using a Dorman pulley. I have no issues with its use. I heated the pulley ithe oven and froze the pump in the freezer and it went right on.
