    Noise and I can feel them working. It feels like the brakes are fully engaged as I let the clutch out. Not too sure about anything because it just doesn't make sense to me, but I can't imagine what could be causing that other than a caliper sticking.

    Me either, I had a 92 F150 extended cab that had rust in the same place. These are Tennessee trucks that have spent their lives in and around Tennessee and they still have rust in this spot even though this area is not too bad for rust.

    Bed rail do's and don'ts

    Great ideas, that's the kind of stuff I'm looking for. I could see the use in something taller than a 1x8, thought if I went that route I would run ratchet straps across the top to keep the sides from pushing out. Who knows, I may make up a single rail and a full side.

    That's been my main reason not to. I bought this truck to haul heavy loads short distances so it likely wouldn't be an issue. That said, I hate to limit myself intentionally. I think that I could use a T connector and maintain the current filler and add one to the bed as well.

    Not sure if the truck has spent time sitting out not, but here in Tennessee our humidity is awful, so corrosion is certainly a possibility. I'll check that ground again as well. Thanks for the suggestions.

    None converted to LED, however when the flat bed was out on the wiring job was very sloppy. I will try a new flasher and see if that solves it.

    Yep. Used to do site prep, mostly rock drilling. Had a 100 gallon fuel tank on my truck to fill my drill. Could go through 100 gallons a day pretty easily too. My co-worker and I used to joke that we wished that we got paid a much as that diesel pump did.
