    Cool. I looked at new tanks. My tanks are steel and the inside seems perfect inside. Just a little rust on outside so I'm gonna paint em. Can you point me at a 40 gal rear tank? I've been looking at ways to get more fuel on board. I suppose that you give up the spare tire when you do this...

    Thanks franklin. The flat bed does have a mud flap behind the wheel, but not in front. Don't think I've ever seen one with a mud flap in front of the tire. Probly just never noticed it. But I see what you're saying.

    fuel mileage queston

    I bought my 93 7.3 IDI 4x4 F250 (ext cab, full size bed, no turbo, 285/75R16 AT tires) a couple years ago and got 19.5 mpg on the way home keeping at 55 mph (~75 mile or so IIRC). Then I had a new IP and injectors installed (at very reputable diesel shop) and have never got that mpg again...
