My OD was flashing in the middle of my drive (after 5 miles). got to my destination (15 miles) without feeling anything wrong with my E40D. pushing the od button to shift up and down still worked.
I disconnected the battery from a switch.

not sure if its normal or not. it drives ok. shifts normally. it did that thing once where the starter did not engage the flywheel. it also had coolant inside the access cover when i opened it
I have replaced the multi function controller. I have bent the 3 contacts for the wiper motor. I have no other idea on what else it could be. I have looked online and the only thing that could be the problem is a pulse board. I dont know where I could find this.
