Also the throttle response is insanely better and it will now black smoke occasionally. Once i get these first problems corrected i intend to tackle the other issues and eventually start upgrading. Not fully able to test at highway speeds yet due to desperate need for front tires ( death wobble)- Tim lindell

Alright so I finally got to mess with my truck. I believe i found the issue. First I bypassed most of the fuel system by running the inlet line from the mech lift pump into a 5gallon diesel tank.This didnt seem t help much but it eliminated most of the fuel system. It starts about the same Started it the other day after sitting for 3 weeks at about 48 degrees and it sounded the same. The glow plugs appear to be working fine- Tim lindell

Yes it will rev in neutral. I just put a pressure gauge on the fuel system and I'm not getting any pressure off my lift pump. I'm pretty sure the injection pump is pulling a vacuum- Tim lindell

The turbo spins fine. The wheel hubs don't heat up. It's in 2wd. The throttle cable is bad but I have it clamped tight until I put the new one in.- Tim lindell

I have a 94 f350 4x4. With the 7.3 idk turbo, 5speed. The truck starts perfect, zero blow by, revs ok at in neutral, No smoke, New filter and new diesel but when you try to drive it it tops out at about 35mph on a flat road. I'm wondering if the lift pump is gone but usually if that happens it...- Tim lindell
