Lift pump going bad?

1953 Chrysler Imperial Turbo Diesel
Just scooped this baby up in Camarillo, CA yesterday, guy we picked it up from has 150+ classics, tons of 27-32 Tudors and Fordors. Told my boy I will work on this with him and not for him. 12 valve mounts vs 24 valve mounts (with photos)
So my Travelall projects engine is too far forward, buddy of mine said 24 valve mounts will scoot the engine back a few inches, I could not find any info to back this up.. i have however found photos of the 24 valve mounts and took measurements based off my own 12 valve mounts. Fuel Guage not working, guage or sender?
Cleaned all the dust out of the cluster I noticed the fuel guage needle is the only one that wont return to "zero" which leads me to believe the problem lies within the cluster. I know it is frowned upon and trust me I always try to do my part with the Earth.. What kind of fiberglass lasts the longest?
Someone recommended long strand bondo hair so I picked some up, after doing research it appears there are "better options" I've read dynaglass, evercoat fiber tech, etc. What's the best product that's going to last and how long should I expect it to last? Just changed my fuel filter, how bad was the old?
Looked pretty nasty IMO, 238k on the truck, bought it in July 2019 with 232k and noticed my mileage was nowhere near what PO said (18mpg) I was getting 12-15... so changed this bad boy out the other day. Planning to make this a 10k every other oil change maintenance item.- idiTravelAll

A/C question
Does anyone know the AC in these trucks? Mines a 97, doesn't appear to have any issues with the flapper doors, AC gets moderately cold I can live with that, after idle 10 mins or so in 100+ weather AC starts to get pretty warm then takes a good 20+ min drive to get it to feel decent in the cab...- idiTravelAll

ATS downpipe?
I got a local buyer for my ATS kit and we're realizing I don't have the downpipe that connects to the 90* bend off the hotside as pictured. We agreed to 550, after realizing the downpipe is missing I offered to let it go for 500. Are there any cost effective solutions for a downpipe with these?- idiTravelAll

Polyamide epoxy primer? And help with color code!
