Installed a clear line from the injector return at the from of the motor to the fuel filter head. No air bubbles so far. Haven't had a chance to do the lines at the rear yet.- RossCo

Yep, no worries. I'll report back when I have more info. The reason I'm on here asking is so I don't overlook something stupid and spend a lot of $ to still have a problem. My gut does tell me it's the IP just from age but, I certainly want to rule everything else out first.- RossCo

Hmmm... I'd be surprised but, that's an easy diag with the clear hose mod. that I haven't done yet. I pay pretty close attention the fueling system. I would expect to see some leakage from the area that is allowing air into the system. Is this a flawed expectation? Thanks for the idea brother...- RossCo

Yes, I'm sure quite old.. I've had the truck for about 8yrs now and put a lot of miles on it. I know for sure it's had one new one before (when I was like 9) but, I believe it's actually had at least two. Ok gents putting this out there just to see if yall come to the same conclusion I am. Truck starts fine hot or cold. Lots O white smoke on start up, idles fine most of the time. FYI, mine is an NA truck.. trans temp was a no brainer for me, pyro next, I put the boost in there as a constant reminder to get a turbo...:peelout- RossCo

Bad c6 vac modular=poor power brakes?
I got my booster and master cylinder assembly at Napa for about 150, took care of the VAC problem and one less thing to worry about with the new master cylinder. Its actually a little less money to get them as an assem instead of by piece.- RossCo

Ok just going off of my experience. My C6 was acting up also. I can't say for sure about your modulator valve being good or bad. It does seem odd that it bleeds down. It tells me there is a leak in the diaphragm but, I may be wrong. Did tyranny fluid come out when you pulled the vac line? I had...- RossCo

Hmmm not a bad idea there..I assume your referring to adding a manual glow push button.? I will say the first thing I'm going to go is clean up that wiring some and add an off switch for the glow function for hot starts. It's my guess that is why the solid state controllers seem to burn out...- RossCo

So what did you do with your truck today?
So not necessarily today but, in the last month. -Repaired cab electrical short, for courtesy lights and radio batt hook up. -Installed new radio and 5 1/2 Rockford speakers in doors. -Installed new brake booster and master cylinder -Drilled and tapped drain plugs for front and rear riffs...- RossCo

LED Headlight Bulbs in lieu of Relay
Not sure if it helps any but, I recently installed a set of 5x7 LED headlights. I have been really happy with the results (upgrade from stck). IMO seems like a lot of work for one cable. If it was me I would replace it. Or rather, I build my own. Sounds like you are going to the parts store tomorrow anyway. C6 deceleration down shift?
It definitely did do it even if I didn't hit the brake pedal. I tried it with and without using the brake just in trying to diag. I'm sure that using the brakes definitely made the problem more pronounced.- RossCo
