Is that factory
While cleaning the side of the block in preparation for when the oil cooler will go back on I noticed this hole plugged where the front header would go that I thought oil was supposed to flow through. It looks factory but I wanted to know for sure from those who know. Btw it's a 83 6.9- idiwelder

Oil cooler header compatibility
After installing a mechanical oil gauge on the 83 6.9 I have be working on getting roadworthy again I discovered that on cold startup the oil pressure is 100 psi+ that will slowly start to drop according to the Bosh mechanical gauge I'm using. Hard starting issue
As of the past 4 days since getting bellow freezing my 83 6.9 has started hard starting. It will start right off (after the glow plugs go off)for about 4 seconds then die like there was air in the lines, even though I've eliminated the lift pump for a faucet duralift, but when it go to try to...- idiwelder
