I appreciate your help! But that just adds to my confusion. Ive seen 3/8 adapter plates that required the factory 7.3 IDI crank spacer. Your 1" does not. If anything, it should be opposite due your plate being twice as thick.
Looking to have an adapter plate made for my Ford ZF5 trans. Looking for the plate thickness that is needed. Ive seen 3/8,1/2, and 1" builds but unable to verify which was for a ZF6 rather then a ZF5. Anyone make there own, or can verify what thickness is needed?
