    Put the sending unit in the tank, set the tank in. It is a 77 tank, lines up with most of the holes on my 71 cab (changed tank mounts in mid year 69)

    Today me and dad painted his Lincoln parts and my fuel tank, hood, and random parts. I have to mount the hood on it and finish lining everything up, sand and paint the exterior.

    The washers are 1/8" thick, but I measured to the head, not the washer.

    I found the bolts, there are 10 per head. 5 shorter at 5 1/8" to the head of the bolt and 5 longer ones at 6 3/8" to the head. Thank you for looking into it for me!

    I have read that thread, he doesn't really say where to get parts or anything. Detroit doesn't support them anymore and the 2 stroke guys don't support them.

    I finished the patches in the hood, going to get the underside prepped for paint, then after it is painted it will get installed on the truck and when the fenders are ready the whole thing will get painted.

    I have been in the process of moving into my new place, but the 68 stayed at my dad's shop. We founf more rust in the hood, am making replacement parts now. Dad is finishing up with his Lincoln and my brother's truck is done, so we will start to get more done soon.
