    I would probably pull the engine to do the head. You could get the head checked and if its bad do the swap. Which engine is lower miles?

    I had this issue and it tured out to be plugged fuel filter and water seperator(racor filter). After replacing the surging went away.

    the symbol you have circled is a resistor. I think a diode is a triangle with an extra line at the base. as an aside you don't need a ground attached to a bulb. you just need a voltage drop across the bulb. for instance one side could read 12V while the other side could be 6V (not ground)...

    I'm trying to remove the 6 nuts that hold the bed in, but the round tops just spin. Is there a trick to get these out? I don't want to grind off the heads.

    35 bucks at orielly. Napa wanted 55 for a CR branded one. Figured National was fine and 20 bucks less. Cheaper than a new harmonic balancer.

    Thanks Towcat. I picked up the part you displayed 99250. Worked like a charm. Thanks again for your help on this. the old one looks like it was the wrong one that the PO tried to install anyway to get it to work. Feel much better about the new one and the installation.

    I think I like the snap on one the best of the ones currently available. Do I need a snap on timing light to use this? How does it attach to the fuel line? Is the snap on one any good? Anyone using this that would recommend it?
