Starting fluid: how bad is it really?

I have an idea.... will this work???
Look at my sig. It is a reg. cab long box, and it is pretty rusty. The cab has a long history of shady body work, and its second (atleast) set of rockers and cab corners are going to $hit. No passenger side floor. A new cab would be easier. How ridiculous of an idea is it to go from SCLB to ECSB...- that stinky ford

6.9 charging issues.... bypassing voltage regulator?
Soo... I have had some issues with my 6.9. It wasn't charging the batteries, so I put a multimeter on the + and - terminals on the alternator. It read extremely low, like 10 volts or something. So out comes the old junk, and to O'Reillys for a new one. The new one was noticeably bigger, and the...- that stinky ford

Is 80-86 hood same width as 87-91 hood?
I am looking at a plastic bug shield, but it is off of a 88 F-150. My question is, would it be close enough to my 83 to look right? Thanks.- that stinky ford
