    Thermostat & waterpump install

    Hello, last nite I pulled my thermostat on my '94 FTIDI & PO had installed it with tons of Red RTV, no gasket & some offbrand broken thermostat. What gasket sealer you usually use on new gasket as well as new waterpump gasket? BTW I got new Motorcraft thermostat.

    With powerstroke oil filter how many quart?

    I used to run 11 qt with 7.3 filters. That is what it took to get me to full on my dipstick. With a power stroke filter I have run 12 qt oil to full mark? Am I overfilling? Interested in others thoughts.
