    Feeling kinda dumb for not checking the damned fuses That’s all it was. Thought the gauges would just go to 0 if the fuse popped, but I guess not most of them just freeze where they were.

    Just realized on my way home from work, V gauge dead, fuel, oil and temp are actually frozen at whatever they were at when the problem started, so I’m guessing fuse as soon as I can test.

    Been awhile since I’ve been here, . My current problem is my tach, volt and fuel gauges quit. Fuel is stuck just under 3/4 no matter which tank I select and volt and tach don’t move at all. Could this be a ground problem or a fuse?

    I’m pretty sure I’ve seen some reasonably priced ones on eBay or Amazon, can’t remember which. Just replaced my Radiator, water pump and thermostat and was contemplating replacing the tank also but didn’t. $ is getting tight.

    Ok, know it’s been awhile. Replaced the valve cover gaskets and wire harnesses, seems to have improved this problem but not completely. Still will occasionally die or stutter. Thinking of a dealership CPS and maybe the throttle position sensor?

    Don’t use ether if you don’t have to. Use wd-40 it won’t wash the oil from your cylinder walls.

    Well, so far so good. Did the RTV just like I planned above. Soaked the side of the pan with engine degreaser, removed the nut, sprayed a whole can of break parts cleaner on the area with the nut out of the way and on the nut. Let it air dry completely and put a small bead of RTV all the way...

    I’m looking to try and reseal mine tolday on an ‘03 PSD. Hoping I can clean it all and put RTV as the sealant. Do y’all think that’ll seal it or should I get the o-ring.
