Had it with the return caps!
I put a dab of leak lock refrigeration sealant that I use for work on the bottom of a couple o rings that would not seal even with new caps and i haven't had a leak since about 6000 miles ago. I agree there shouldn't be any sealant but it got old fast dealing with air intrusion.- Thorracer265

Bottom line is the mistake was already made and I already know to never do it again I just didnt need another reminder of should of could of. I found a gp controller for 40 bucks at the wrecking yard, quick easy swap and now my WTs light is back and now starts very quick. Yeah I started...- Thorracer265

I couldn't get the banks 3" downpipe to fit unless the tube was removed, I even put my truck on a lift and had friends helping. In the cab there's a fuse for glow plugs and tach but fuse didn't pop . Ill check out wrecking yards for cheap controller to test.- Thorracer265

I'm not going to complain about a 150 dollar ip off Craigslist when mine was done, and they are not hard to swap, thanks for not answering any questions bud I can sit and cry about how I should of took the grounds off but it already happened so I need to work towards fixing the problem not...- Thorracer265

The 093 turbo by ats, fusible link in the fender I'll have to check that, why would I look in the dp hall of shame because I accidentally arced off the controller wo big deal I could of dropped a bolt in my intake or somethin way worse- Thorracer265

Added a turbo to my n/a 89 7.3 off a 94 idi, I finally have everything done thanks a lot to typ4! I still wanna change a few things though, my transmission dipstick tube is a piece of rubber hose fitted to the same length as the original dip tube but I'd like to have a lokar style type design...- Thorracer265

1989 7.3 idi turbo oil lines HELP!
I have the crossovers already, I'm missing the pedestal, cdr and all oil lines. I'm gonna start smashing in my firewall this weekend and make the pipes fit! 88 beast do you have pics of ur cdr mod or links to we're I can get the stuff! Thanks guys- Thorracer265

Thanks for the reply I appreciate it I'm getting frustrated by the whole situation I had my truck towed to a shop today and they told me I have to pull my motor and bash in my firewall for the up pipe and down pipe to fit and told me I'm better off buying a bolt on kit, I guess I messed up by...- Thorracer265
