    Return line kit for Bio/WVO

    I just got new injectors and a return line kit from Russ and he knows I run SVO/BIO. The previous non-Russ kit has worked well for 50K miles without leaking or softening. Its nice to support Russ and his kits seem reasonably priced.

    Turbo not spooling?

    I just got the t60 upgrade from Russ plus some other upgrades. Quite a difference, earlier spooling and better boost throughout the power band. One satisfied customer.

    Another bad experience with Parts Geek. They sent me rear shocks instead of front shocks. They did respond to my complaint after a week but their return policy, despite their mistake, makes me not want to risk having to pay return shipping and hope they will return my money.

    How important is that brace between the y pipe and the exhaust? I had to saw mine off to get the y pipe on

    Alls well, I loosened all the pipe fittings and sawed off the Zf5 ear that was hitting on the y pipe. I made sure to tighten the pedestal bolts first. No oil leak now. Thanks all, Mike

    Some one suggested cutting the upper passenger side ear to allow the up pipe-y pipe to clear the tranny. I have an 87 F250 with an ATS T/3-T4 hybrid turbo. Anyone here heard of doing this?

    My recently rebuilt T3/T4 hybrid ATS turbo ( thanks Russ) on my 87 6.9 has a bad oil leak. I know there is a small Oring for the valley pan oil drain that I might have left out, but the leak seems higher, as I can see a drip from a rear left side bolt at about the 7 oclock position. Any advice...

    I'd rather not spend anymore money if it won't make much difference. But I still have a very loose connection between the two pipes and much soot in the area. Could this make for a tighter connection?

    The up pipe connection with the lower pipe is very loose and there is a lot of soot around the area. Also the up pipe has a twist restriction in it, Is there an upgrade?

    Thanks guys, I don't think pics will show anything other than the numbers I gave you. I've scraped the IP area clean but will go over it again. Maybe it doesn't matter whether its a 6.9 or a 7.3, but Russ is rebuilding/upgrading my turbo and I'd like to give him accurate info.

    I'm trying to find out from the codes what year is it and if its a 6.9 or 7.3. II don't want to pull the valve cover to check the bolts unless absolutely necessary.

    Engine extreemly dusty. How to stop?

    I drive on a lot of dusty fire roads and my engine bay gets very dusty. I did try to tighten up the rubber side covers above the front wheels, but it hasn't helped much. Any suggestions?

    Header wrap on turbo pipes?

    While Russ (Typ 4) is rebulding my turbo, which pipes should I header wrap? Is there a better type of wrap? Should I also wrap the exhaust manifolds? Thanks, Mike

    The name ATS is in title of thread. Per Russ: intake snail has to be unbolted, the compressor bolts loosened and turned a bit so the snail can be slipped out. Exhaust has 4 bolts on the up pipe and 2 bolts on the pedestal to intake. When its off the pedestal can be removed from the center...

    Russ is going to rebuild the aftermarket ats hybrid T3/T4 turbo on my 87 6.9. I"ve searched here and on the Ford forum but can't find any instructions on how to remove it. Any advice or links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike
