It is a 5 speed it's still doing it now going on 2 years it runs great just when you idle it sometimes wants to rattle and shake still haven't figured it out but I will check what you mention above- Hollsc

Just recently when I am idling the truck shakes and makes a fairly loud rattling. If you give it a quick hit on the gas it usually will return to idling normal but sometimes it take a few times to do that. Is this an idler arm pulley or what should I check first? 1996 F350 5 speed losing power on hills
Got the truck back last night and sure enough they forgot to hook the map sensor back up so once they did that all is back to normal. Thanks idipwr for the suggestion to check that because that was all it was- Hollsc

I will find out today I dropped the truck off last night where I took it and they do work on these trucks quite regularly so we shall see. I just changed the oil and replaced the fuel filter and air filter about 6,000 miles ago so I wouldn't think it would be that. I will ask about the map...- Hollsc
