Ahhh, I'm keeping the old bird. everyday I drive it I like it more. Thanks to forums like these (this one seems by far the best) I have enjoyed an honest 15+ hours a week reading about people's rigs and mods and realizing what great trucks these are. I have zero interest in building a screaming...

I decided to put my truck up for trade, I really like it but I haven't driving a standard in a long time and shifting is killing my knee. It's either that or an auto swap. I would trade for an auto 6.9/7.3 in similar condition. I also realize I don't need a dually. This is a great truck but a...

    no dash turn signal lights

whoops... 86 f250, both lamps burned out w 89k miles? what are the odds on that. but you're right, should start there I guess but I doubt that's the issue. I've worked with hundreds of vehicles, I see 2000+ vehicles a week at auctions, never seen a signal light burn out yet. anythings possible...

    no dash turn signal lights

any ideas on why neither turn signal lights come on? If not it's going to be fun tracing through a wiring diagram. also, my right signal won't click into position, I have to hold it up. any help is appreciated! They both work outside.

a full rebuild on an idi would be awesome, you know you have about 300k at least before another (from what i read). not mention if you use top notch parts, even longer.

    Anyone have Bada wheel balancer?

I'll never bother with a balancer again. run dyna beads or something like it, perfect balance for the life of the tire, rocks, mud or whatever stuck in the lugs, still perfect balance every time. I've tried it and I'm sold.

    92 4x4 for sale

I saw this truck in person. decent body/int for sure, owner said 1500, needs head gaskets as it smokes white smoke bad, question is... gaskets or cavitation holes? tranny condition? I was interested but bought an 86' dually w/89k for 2k instead the same day. rebuild the 7.3 and hope for the best...

THANKS! I joined a few other forums after buying this beast and so far none have the # of friendly replies this one does. I am super stoked about running wvo, I have two tanks so a huge head start and have read about the details of wvo for over a year now, it all sounds easily doable. On top of...

Thanks for the reply, it's a T19 4 spd though. what are common signs for pump failure-leaking or poor fuel delivery-both? mine has a oily area under the pump and on the driver side of motor coming down the side. it looks like it's coming from the plug with wires on top of the timing gear cover...

Hi all, just joined after I bought this truck. Been searching for a decent cheap diesel for months (sold my gm 6.2 after the junk 700r went to nothing). finally found this old bird. 86 6.9 4 spd 4.10 sterling, dually, xlt lariat centurion. 89k original miles (i hope), rust free and with a mint...
