If you want a high compresion motor please don't use aluminum. Look into Windsor Sr heads I had a 90 mustang I built the motor on and put Windsor srs on it with 11-1 compresion and never had one problem with that car. I sold it cause some jack ass stole and I got it back with lots of missing...
I had a straight through muffler on my 3 inch and it was really quit. So I cit the 3 inch out and from the so back went with a straight 4" dump right in front of the rear tire. Was really loud at first so either I've gotten a little deaf or its gotten a little more quite not sure which. But it...
I think typ4 has one that he might part with and it is the ats 093 wastegated the other ats is a 088 and it is not wastegated. Either one is a good turbo it just depends on what your going to do with it.

I'm going to look at it this weekend I'm planning on starting it and crack the injection lines one by one to see if there is a difference in how it runs.

Okay so at 2300 rpm under no load my truck will lay some heavy blueish white smoke. Also if it sits for an hour and I start it back up it sounds like its missing a bit. After I drive it on the freeway it seems like it goes away. Do I have leaky injectors is my timing off. Is my ip on its way out?
