You noticed a temp increase? This is why I'm leery of installing an aluminum. I found a oem copper replica, thinking of going that route. Called champion they don't have any 4 rows instock, only 3. I do alot of heavy towing and don't want to downgrade radiators. The copper 4 row does...
Clutch has less than 100 miles on it. Turns out after replacing all the hydraulics, fork, ball, grommets, clutch assembly, I needed synchros. Reinstalled my oem DMF assembly since there was nothing wrong with it. This is for vin coded M trucks. Comes with pilot bearing and throwout bearing...
Yep. Shifts like brand new. I'll just throw this out there the factory stroke minimum needed on the slave cylinder recommended in the Ford book isn't quite enough . Years ago when I changed it mine would move the minimal distance and it still wasn't quite enough putting a brand new OEM one on...
It should be on the passenger side. 91 and older trucks have different colored wires and and different style plugs than a 92 and newer but its very similar. Rob a harness off another truck your body style and hook it up like factory
The shipping receipt they sent me said Bosch auto service solutions . Every phone number I called on this site specifying Bosch or SPX took me right back to you Bosch customer service that part number is good the J33300 -25A is the quarter-inch line clamp and entire harness . The ROS is just...

Do any of the members on here know gary parsons by the screen name of i can fix all? He's out in
Whittier, California. I sent him my timing meter 3 weeks ago and can't get ahold of him on here . The phone number (his cell) he gave me has been disconnected. I fear the worst as if he is ill or...
Yes. Referring to clutch fork pivot stud. Another company is making them now from what I gathered from trans star. It's $11 part. I'll know if it's correct when it gets here Friday lol
Here's a little update.. As of 3-14 -2017 This part is no longer available at any dealer, or dealer connection. ZF in chicago has 100 in stock. I bought one from trans star today in northern illinois, but they got the part from denver colorado. The part number that cross references the...
Trans looked like brand new when it came apart. Never had any problems with third, 2nd gear block ring was like brand new, slowed 2nd gear down just as it should. No cracks on housing
Thanks. I found someone today that's hundreds of the zf5's. Retired ford master tech. Even has the jig. I agree on 2nd gear. Probably needs the keys in there too. I'd say there's grooves wore in them. Switching back to a DMF and the 12" Valeo upgdrade too upon reinstall
Thanks I'll call them after work. I'm running into a brick wall having my transmission rebuilt everyone is claiming it requires a special jig and they do not have it is there any option for rebuilding this besides an entire new transmission from say ZF or Jasper mind just needs a second gear...
Where can I find a clutch fork pivot stud for a zf5-s42 ? The part number is : E7TZ-7B602-A I checked with ford and they cannot find one anywhere in the country
My is noisy and rattles. I hate it . Hate it enough that I bought a new valeo DMF and valeo clutch kit and am going to change it back out this winter when i put synchros in my zf5 . Some guys don't know this but there is an upgrade kit you can actually buy from valeo for our trucks making more...
