Shop recommendation in Norfolk VA area
Anybody know of a shop familiar with IDIs in the Norfolk VA area? I had a guy at one shop that really impressed me and then he disappeared. I realize it's a kinda silly question for a DIY forum...But I need some things done and don't have time!! Thanks!- DavidS

yet another E4od issue...trans shop stumped!
Hey guys, I finally got the rebuilt motor into the truck and drove it for the first time! A fresh motor and a turbo make for a noticeable difference over the '88 NA! Factory turbo oil drain valley pan grommet
Anybody have a source for these? I'm in the position I think other's have found themselves in where the vp gromemet that came in the rebuild kit is too large for the oil drain. I've seen a few workarounds on here but would like to find the right part if possible... I found a ford part number and...- DavidS

Spare engine parts free for the taking
Cam, crank and rods from 7.3 na of unknown year or milage, free if you come get them. They came out of I block I got from a recycler to use in my build. Not sure if anyone would have need for them but figured I would ask before scrapping them. I'm in the Hampton Roads area of VA.- DavidS

Sloooow crank, tried everything!
OK so here's the story: Truck is a 1994 7.3 idit that i bought having never seen it run. About 300k odo. The story from the previous owner was it was getting hard to start, so he had bought a new fuel pump but then lost interest and wanted it gone. Batteries were dead (I thought) so it would...- DavidS

First diesel purchase - need advice
So I'm about to enter the world of diesel Fords. The truck in question is an '89 7.3 4x4 5 spd, extended cab, long bed. 290k on the odometer.
