    No the fork was not replaced.I was argueing with a coworker about a bleeder screw on the slave cylinder.He crawled under my truck and said yes there is.It's a small allen screw.That's this weekends project.

    I leave in second gear.When I release the clutch the noise starts but does go away as I increase in speed.I don't hear it third or up.If the trans is full with four qts.,how do I put in a fifth? I called the shop and used a generic dextron.What do you suggest?

    I had a converision clutch installed in my 1993 f350 7.3 idi and the shop said they changed the fluid at the same time.It now sounds like the trans wants to come out and sit next to me.Hard to hear the radio. Any thoughts?

    clutch release problem

    I just had a conversion clutch installed in my 1993 f350 7.3 idi.My clutch release is on the floor.It's very hard to shift.Any ideas on how to fix this? Also the trans has become very noisy.The shop changed the fluid while they where there. Thanks

    TENSIONER UPDATE

    I just spent 15 days trying to remove the torx bolt from the idler.I ended up removing the radiator.I tried a 3/8 impact to remove the bolt.It just rattled.I put a 1/2 impact and stripped the bolt.I removed a part of the pulley by using a 3in cutoff wheel.I tried vise grips with a cheater.nope.I...

    Yeah sorry. The mounting bracket on the drivers side which the a/c compressor and p/s pump bolts on to.

    I gave up and removed the radiator to get some room to remove the idler.Lots of room now.An Impact driver would not remove the bolt on the idler.Big hammer and chisel.I broke the pedestal off the cover.Now I have to remove the cover to have the pedestal miged back on.They want 250.00 for a used...

    I was throwing a belt every two weeks.I bought a new tenisioner.I tried to remover the tenisioner.The idler has to be removed first.I have tried to remove the torx bolt for two days.I'm now with out a ride.Sure could use some help. Thanks

    In the morning when I leave for work my truck will die.It will start right up.It hasn't happened for a couple of weeks.This morning when I shift,the motor will shudder.It idles fine and runs good except when I let off to shift. Looking for some help before it strands me. THANKS

    belt won't stay on

    Ok I got a day off.I released the tension on the belt so I could check the pulleys.The idler is jamup jelly tight.The tensioner is sloppy.The belt is 25% off the pulley.I'm going to replace the tensioner.Any tricks to replacing it? Thanks for all your help.
