    Be sure to contact Rock Auto for a refund. I had the same thing happen a couple of years ago with those Pentius filters. I wish they would just drop that filter.

    Check Uhaul's ebay store if your looking for a water in fuel sensor. They are usually the cheapest. I know that Rock Auto carries them for more $.

    I had a bad water pump that was enough of a drag to make my truck had to start. For a long time it didn't leak or show a lot of play, so I thought the hard starts were caused by something else.

    Rear Tank Is Out!

    I felt the same way when I changed both tanks last month. The lines to the rear really get pulled on when that tank starts to come down just a few inches. Getting the lines loose from frame gives you a little slack, but not enough to get all the tension off those lines.

    U-Haul was great to deal with. They exchanged pumps for me twice. By the time I had installed the third one, they had long since sold out their last one. I've bought many other parts from them. They are very quick to help is there is a problem.

    I had two u-haul pumps turn out to be duds. Both were Diesel Logic rebuilds fresh from the shrink wrap. I must have picked up two from the same bad Monday morning rebuild. U-Haul was willing to exchange the first bad one and the second I just consider a core for a moose.

    Can an injection pump for an automatic transmission be used to replace one on an engine with a manual transmission? The pump in my '93 F250 just started oozing below the cover and out the weep hole. I want to swap it out with one of those Uhaul ones...
