    About interior trim...

I've got an OBS F-150 at work with near mint interior trim behind the doors (the plastics that go around the rear of the interior). My custom doesn't have the stuff, or even a headliner. So - the question is - can I swap the trim into my truck? These pieces even have speaker holes... would...

The results I posted are great, but some of these surfaces I'm working with just aren't playing nicely. $600 get's the cab forward blasted with plastic media or soda. (price includes jambs, full doors, full inner fenders...

Austin's F-Superduty work to play build

Thanks fellas. Corey - it's gonna take quite some time! I'm already planning 4 camping spots on the way. :D As for the paint, there isn't a drop of paint from a spray can on this truck. Pretty simple process- 1. prep surface, primer. 2. thin enamel paint with mineral spirits, about 1:1 mix 3...

finally got my truck back :) well 98% of my truck

I wire wheeled and used Rustoleum's rust reformer/encapsulator (which primes the surface), then painted away.

Get a Harbor Freight paint gun and hook it up to an air compressor and go to town. I'd slather it. Primer holds moisture, btw.

    equalizing both tanks?

Sounds like too much work to still have to worry about two sending units. I'd rather worry about the switch going out.

Thanks Brad - it's Rustoleum. ;p It's all about the prep work and taking your time. And since it's taken 8 months to get this far, I'd say I've taken my time! LOL Thanks Heath! I'd love to make it to the next rally.
